Elizabeth Reaser, an American actor in TV, film and the theatre, best known for her roles in The Twilight Saga as well as TV shows such as Greys Anatomy or True Detective. Elizabeth was raised and born on the Michigan coast of US. From the time she was little she was enthralled by the idea of being an actor. The high school she attended led her to join the Juilliard School drama division, which she attended and graduated with the degree of master in fine arts. A guest star role in The Sopranos she had her first TV appearance. Later, she appeared in other shows that were successful, such as The Jury Hack, Standoff and The Jury. In 2006, she had a major career break as the role in the role of Alice Alden was offered to her in the TV series Saved. The actress then played important parts as Alice Alden in Greys Anatomy, The Good Wife and True Detective. She also starred in films including Liberal Arts One and Two and The Twilight Saga.

Jessica was selected by a global search to be the main character in The Outpost. The producers were given a video of her acting in MMA and also a short clip of her acting. The producers received a short video that she shot the next day, showing herself sword fighting. Jessica was able to read the script, and was aware that the character needed the training for weapons. The first time she recorded her session with a professional after having read the script. Based on Jonathan Glassner, the stunt team was surprised at how well she performed during her initial lesson. The Outpost marked her first major role in the US as her previous filmographies were located in Australia. Jessica's skills in mixed martial, the horse and weaponry, along with her ability to perform stunts, allow her to be an imposing female persona. She has a background in boxing, muay Thai and mixed martial artist. On set, shooting Season 4, Jake Stormoen met a stray dog that was wandering around the filming. The pet was part of the litter of stray puppies which were living in the film set. Jessica fostered two of the pups.
